Celebrating more than 50 years of IKEA at the Liljevalchs Konsthall in Stockholm.

The exhibition at the Swedish contemoprary art museum, showcases the amazing contribution IKEA has made to home design, with some items on display dating back to the 1950’s.

The flat pack phenomenon began here and this exhibition tells the magnificent story of how and where it started.

Steffan Bengtsson, the curator promises some surprising gems from IKEA’s history, some of which can even be bought.

The exhibition runs until 30th August 2009.
